Section 01
All Sales Are Final
Because every sign is made to order and begins production upon payment, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges under any circumstances — including but not limited to: change of mind, dissatisfaction with artistic interpretation, delays in photo submission, shipping transit time, or natural variation in handmade wood products.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.
We take great care in every piece we make. If something is damaged in transit or arrives with a production defect, please email us with photos within 5 days of delivery and we will review on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
Section 02
Custom & Handmade Nature of the Work
Every sign is individually made by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike. By ordering, you understand and accept the following:
- Your photo is used as artistic inspiration for a silhouette — it is not traced, reproduced literally, or transferred digitally. The artist interprets shape, posture, and presence.
- The finished sign may differ from example photos in composition, background elements, silhouette pose, layering, and proportion. This is expected and intentional.
- Natural wood grain, color variation, and dimensional differences between layers are inherent to the material and are not defects.
- Hand-finishing and clear coating may vary slightly between pieces.
- Examples shown on our website are representative of style — not guarantees of exact output.
Section 03
Photo Submission
After completing your Stripe purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please reply to that email with your horse's photo attached.
- Side profile preferred, with the full body visible
- Good natural lighting; simple or uncluttered background
- JPG, PNG, or HEIC format
Production does not begin until your photo is received. Mile High Mustangs is not responsible for delays caused by late or missing photo submissions. If no photo is received within 30 days of purchase, we reserve the right to proceed with a stock silhouette interpretation or cancel the order without refund.
By submitting your photo, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and you grant Mile High Mustangs permission to use it solely for the purpose of creating your custom sign.
Section 04
Personalization & Order Details
You are responsible for the accuracy of all personalization information provided at checkout, including horse name, personalized line, and collection style. Please double-check spelling and details before submitting.
Once production has begun, changes to personalization details cannot be accommodated. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us at dorothymwilloughby@gmail.com as soon as possible — we will do our best to address it if production has not yet started, but cannot guarantee changes.
The personalized line is limited to one line of text. Requests for additional lines will not be honored, as this affects the integrity of the design composition.
Section 05
Production Time & Shipping
Standard production time is 3–5 weeks from the date your photo is received. Rush orders (selected at checkout) are prioritized but production time may still vary based on current volume.
All orders ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping is included in the listed price. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once a package is in transit.
If your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with you to file a claim with the carrier. Mile High Mustangs is not liable for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.
Section 06
Add-Ons
Artist's Choice Painted Accents (+$25): Additional hand-painted details are selected entirely at the artist's discretion to complement the composition. Specific painted elements cannot be requested or guaranteed.
Rush Order (+$35): Rush orders are prioritized in the production queue. This does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Rush fees are non-refundable.
Section 07
Care & Intended Use
All signs are clear coated and intended for indoor display only. Exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or outdoor conditions may cause warping, fading, or finish damage. Mile High Mustangs is not responsible for damage resulting from improper display or care.
